2026 Catalyze Pittsburgh Challenge - Phase 1

The Catalyze Pittsburgh Challenge is a regional funding and learning initiative focused on advancing innovative approaches to career-connected learning for young people in emerging industries and occupations.
This application is for Phase 1 of the Catalyze Pittsburgh Challenge. Through Phase 1, organizations may submit concepts for innovative career-connected learning approaches serving youth ages 11–18 in the counties of Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Washington, or Westmoreland. Organizations selected through this application process may receive funding of up to $15,000 to refine their ideas and prepare for a later competitive application for implementation funding.
Before applying, please review the Catalyze Pittsburgh Challenge Application Guide and related online resources. The Application Guide describes the Challenge, eligibility requirements, application expectations, and the elements applicants should address in their proposals.

The Phase 1 application includes:
- a brief eligibility form;
- basic organization and application information;
- completion of application fields and questions addressing the core Catalyze elements identified in the Application Guide; and
- required applicant acknowledgments and certifications.
Applications must be submitted through Submittable by October 30, 2026. Applicants are encouraged to begin their application early and allow sufficient time to complete and upload all required materials.
A submitted application should be considered final. Partner4Work may contact an applicant if clarification or additional information is needed during the review process. Submission of an application does not guarantee selection or funding. Any organization selected through Phase 1 may be required to complete additional due diligence and execute an agreement before receiving funding.
